We have found a larger venue that we are going to try. April's Salsa Social will be held at the Richard W. Black Community Center in Hanover on April 21st. We'll do a bit of a longer lesson from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, and open dancing will be from 7:30pm to 10pm. DJ John Tomeny will be in charge of the music. Water will be available. This venue doesn't have food, but people are welcome to bring in food and non-alcoholic drinks, or have food delivered (alcohol is not allowed in the center). We'll set up tables and chairs to use. If anyone would like to help set up, we have the room starting at 6pm and could use help bringing in DJ equipment and setting up lights, tables and chairs.
At the last event, we started with finding the "1" beat, so that you and your dance partner can be in sync. For those that found this a challenge, here is a video on how to find the "1" in salsa music.

Here is a link to the salsa instruction video that was sent with the last event as well, in case you would like to get a jump start learning some moves.

We hope to see you there!
